The slopes run from Kranjska Gora to Planica at the altitude between 800 and 1,215 m. The slopes are connected through 5 chairlifts and 13 drag lifts (there are also some ski slopes in not far from Špik in Italia and Austia). Kranjska Gora is renowned worldwide for its two international events, such as the Vitranc Cup – Apline Skiing World Cup, and the Ski Jumping World Cup in Planica.

Cross-country skiing
There are 40 km of maintained cross-country ski trails in Kranjska Gora and its surroundings. They lead all the way to Planica, Mojstrana and Zgornja Radovna. The trail from Rateče to Tamar with 260 m of ascent is suitable for fitness runs.

Ice climbing
It is said that every true ice climber must climb Lucifer - the famous icefall not far from the hotel - once in his or her lifetime. But beginners should try ice climbing in the Mlačca Gorge in Mojstrana, where the ice-climbing centre offers security, experienced guides and equipment rental.

Other activities
Day and night hikes on snow-covered plains on snowshoes and panoramic sleigh rides are also unforgettable experiences.
